In an effort to provide security and safety for tourists in the province, Lampung Regional Police Chief Inspector General Helmy Santika, accompanied by his key officials, visited several tourist destinations in Pesawaran district, one of which are Mutun Beach and Tegal Mas Island on Saturday (2/10/2024). The attention on tourist destinations' security was due to the long holiday of Isra Mi’raj and Lunar New Year, where Helmy came down directly to the locations and reviewed the situation. Previously, prior to the holiday, the police chief had prepared several security measures such as personnel preparation, security and service posts, and collaboration between parties. “On the weekend and long holiday of Isra Mi’raj and Lunar New Year, we are sure that tourists would come and enjoy their free time in Lampung,” said Helmy. For the security operations applied in tourist destinations, Helmy has arranged patrols around the location and to anticipate criminal actions and accidents.
