Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.   The Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police have arrested four masterminds behind the kidnapping and murder of a bank branch head  identified as MIP (37), whose body was discovered in Bekasi, West Java, last week. 

The arrests were confirmed Sunday (24/8/2025) by the Metro Jaya Police’s General Criminal Investigation Directorate.

“The Violent Crimes Unit succeeded in arresting four intellectual actors involved in the abduction and killing of the bank manager,” said Superintendent Abdul Rahim, the Head of the unit, as quoted by antaranews.com

The suspects, identified by initials C, DH, YJ, and AA, were detained in separate operations. Suspects DH, YJ, and AA were arrested on Saturday evening in Solo, Central Java, while suspect C was arrested on Sunday afternoon in Pantai Indah Kapuk, North Jakarta.

Police had earlier detained four other suspects, including one caught attempting to flee via an airport in East Nusa Tenggara. Investigators are now conducting intensive interrogations to uncover the motive behind the crime.
