inp.polri.go.id -  Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Mohammad Fadil Imran welcomed the initiation of the Clash Festival by throwing tomatoes and bread. The festival was held to quell the clashes that often happen in Manggarai, South Jakarta. The Kapolda felt that the activity, that referenced from a tomato war festival in Spain, could help ease the tension in Manggarai. “In TV, I saw a Spanish festival where people throws tomatoes at each other. Maybe our festival could be something like that,” said Inspector General Fadil during the Inauguration of the Anti-Brawl Team in Manggarai, Jakarta, Tuesday (11/10/22). Apart from that, Fadil felt that the police needed to work together with all elements to overcome the problem of brawls in Manggarai. "We can't move on our own, but we can solve this brawl issues by moving together. Trust that we can solve everything together, with passion, with sincerity," explained the former East Java Regional Police Chief.
