Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police have enlisted multiple forensic experts to determine the cause of death of Arya Daru Pangayunan, a diplomat and Ministry of Foreign Affairs staff member.
“To ensure scientific accuracy in the investigation, we are involving various specialists,” said Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam Indradi, the Metro Jaya Police Head of Public Relations, on Thursday (24/7/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
The team includes forensic doctors from Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital for internal autopsy and toxicology tests to detect chemical substances or poison. Fingerprint analysis is being handled by the Inafis team from the Indonesian National Police (INP). Digital forensics experts from Metro Jaya Police’s Cybercrime Unit are examining electronic evidence such as laptops, phones, and CCTV.
Psychological profiling is being conducted by the Indonesian Association of Forensic Psychology (Apsifor).
