The Traffic Directorate of Metro Jaya Regional Police continue their pre-emptive and preventive measures for the instalment of campaign props at the side of the road. “Our pre-emptive and preventive measures also involve Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) also civil service police unit,” says Metro Jaya Regional Police Traffic Director, Senior Superintendent Latif Usman on Friday (1/26/2024). According to him, police have reported one traffic accident caused by the campaign props in Cakung, East Jakarta. Latif continued that the area prone to traffic accidents caused by the props are in the overpass, as the wind blows hard, distracting the drivers. “Yess, Mampang is one of the location prone to accidents. The point is, all overpass is dangerous to be installed with campaign props,” said Latif. (ad/ay/pr/nm)
