Lampung Regional Police, Inspector General Helmy Santika stressed that his party will act firmly against all traffic violators, including police members and its high officials. “There is no ‘discount’ for the traffic violators. We should not be biased in upholding the law,” says Lampung Regional Police Chief on Friday (1/26/2024). According to him, police members who violated the traffic law would be ticketed, same as others, in accordance to the law, even if they are on duty. “Even if I am the one who violates the law, I urge you to do the same,” continued Helmy. The Two-Star General also reveals that other thing that is important is the prohibitions of loud exhaust use. According to him, it is not wise for members to use the loud exhaust as they have to be the best example for the society. “Members who use the loud exhaust will be disciplined by the institution,” conclude Helmy.
