The Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the land mafia task force led by Brigadier General Arif Rahman. This was conveyed as the task force has successfully uncovered and enforced the law for the two mafia cases in Kendari.

"As we all know, there are two mafia cases that has been uncovered involving a 44.9 hectare land and a total loss reachung IDR 337 billion," says Minister AHY on Friday (4/26/2024).

Stressed by Minister AHY, current law enforcement instrument should be used to eradicate the land mafia that harmed the public and state. This step aimed to create a sense of justice for the people to get their legal certainty and rights to land owned.

He also implore public not to hesitate to register their land if they have the certificate to suppress the chance for land mafia in committing their crimes.

"I hope people would not hesitate to come to the land offices to register their land because not only the uncertified land, even lands that have the certificate are still the victim of land mafias," said Minster AHY.
