Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono or famously called AHY will continue to push mediation in resolving land disputes.

The Minister explains that the land disputes in Indonesia do not only involve his ministry, but also other ministries who may have the rights on the land disputed.

According to him, the disputes recorded by his party mostly are disputes of 'overlapping' ownership of land certificates.

Moreover, AHY says that the mediation principles are mostly used in resolving the disputes within the community. However, the same rules will not be applied to land mafia.

According to AHY, his party is committed to continue to eradicate and give strong sanctions to land mafia so that issues resolving land in Indonesia can be minimized.

“I really want us to be stronger, more stern in handling and eradicating the land mafia who have claimed many victims,” concludes Minister AHY.
