Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said Indonesia welcomes deeper investment cooperation with Chinese companies in priority sectors aligned with national development goals, including infrastructure, industrial downstreaming, clean energy, digital economy, food security, health, and human capital, during the 20th anniversary of the China Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia (CCCI) in Jakarta on Friday.
“The Indonesian government will continue to improve the investment climate through regulatory reforms, infrastructure development, and policy consistency to ensure Indonesia remains an attractive long-term investment destination,” Minister Airlangga said, as reported by antaranews.com on Saturday (10/1/2026)..
He noted that China has remained Indonesia’s largest trading partner, with bilateral trade reaching USD 135.2 billion in 2024, underscoring strong economic ties between the two countries.
The event was attended by senior officials, business leaders, and diplomats, highlighting Indonesia’s push to accelerate strategic projects and strengthen cooperation with China amid global economic shifts.
