inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Hadi Tjahjanto invites all social elements to maintain situation stability ahead of the 2024 Regional Head Election.

He explains that the stability of the situation affects the success of the election, which the process is already ongoing.

“To realize an election that is peaceful and secure, then we have to maintain the political, law, and security situation,” said Hadi on Wednesday (8/21/2024).

In maintaining the stability, it would require every governmental institution and election organizers to do their best in carrying out their duties.

Then, the election organizers have to ensure that every voter has their right to vote and to maintain their integrity to remain neutral. 

Hadi also instructed related ministries and institutions to guarantee fund availability, to accommodate election organizing as was regulated in the law, and support the situation stability.

The military and police were also instructed to provide security support and maintain their neutrality. As for the election candidates, they were urged to comply with the regulations and follow the steps accordingly.

For the people, they were invited to maintain the secure situation and join the election organizers in overseeing the election process until its over.
