“We have prepared it particularly for internet access, and we pray everything will go smoothly,” says the Director of Information and Communication for Human Development and Culture Bambang Dwi Anggono on Friday (8/30/2024).

According to him, telecommunication operators are currently working with the organizers to install various supporting infrastructure, including fiber optic networks and devices that support 4G and 5G technology. The installation of devices is carried out in all PON match venues, especially in areas that are considered to need signal strengthening.

He explained that adequate bandwidth capacity at the PON XXI Media Center is also a concern of the Ministry of Communication and Information. Its provision is in collaboration with the Communication and Information Service and the PON Grand Committee (PB) at the main media center and satellite media center.

"We have prepared 1,000 Mbps, then there is internet for redundancy of 500 Mbps, and for backup of 100 Mbps," he said.
