The North Jakarta Metro Sub-regional Police deploys personnel and assure that the security and process of the election logistics distribution from the warehouse to the polling stations goes accordingly. “We have instructed our personnel to stay ready and able to face and handle security challenges during the logistics distribution,” said North Jakarta Metro Sub-regional Police Chief, Senior Superintendent Gidion Arif Setyawan on Thursday (2/8/2024). Arif continues that the security operation was solely to support the smooth running of the 2024 General Election and the voting day on February 14th, 2024 so that the event goes accordingly. Furthermore, Arif noted that the monitoring and inspection of the logistics warehouse was performed by police personnel to ensure the location is safe and secured as the voting day is nearing. “We just want to make sure that the 2024 General Election logistics distribution is safe and goes smoothly and accordingly,” explained Arif.
