TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - More than 250 police officers are on duty to secure the concert of South Korean boyband NCT 127 at the ICE BSD, South Tangerang, Friday 4 November. The move came over serious concerns following reports of an anonymous bomb threat circulating on social media.

"[There are] 250 officers from the Resort Police, but our evacuation team comprises of the Densus 88, K-9 unit and Jibom (bomb disposal unit)," South Tangerang Resort Police chief adj. Cr. Comr. Sarlly Sollu said on Friday.

He said the police have thoroughly searched the concert venue using explosives detectors and K9 units. "For now, [the venue] is clear," he said. 

Sarlly said that the bomb squad is also standing by. "We have also carried out profiling for [social media] accounts that spread the bomb threat. 

He ensured that the situation at ICE BSD was under control and that the concert goers are waiting calmly for the event to start. "There is no panic."
