The assistance was distributed directly by the Head of the Belawan Port Police, AKBP Faisal Rahmat, on Wednesday (7/9/22). According to Faisal, the provision from the Kapolda was initially intended only for motorcycle taxi drivers around the Gabion, but because of the enthusiasm of the locals, he finally decided to distribute it to fishermen and residents in need. "At first, the provision was initially intended for the motorcycle taxi drivers, but seeing the enthusiasm of the people, we finally decided to give it to the fishermen and residents in need too," said the Head of Belawan Port Police "Today we distributed 200 sacks of rice and in the future we will also distribute it to people in need in other places," explained AKBP Faisal Rahmat. "The purpose of this aid distribution is to help ease the burden of the people," added the Belawan Harbor Police Chief. During that activity, the Head of Police was accompanied by Head of Traffic AKP Pittor Gultom, and Head of Community Development Unit, AKP Ardiansyah.
