inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Chief Secretary of the President, Heru Budi Hartono advised workers in Jakarta to work from home on Thursday (9/5/2024), during the visit of Pope Francis.

Heru says that on Thursday, other than the Mass with Pope Francis in GBK, there is also the Indonesia Sustainability Forum (ISF) event in Jakarta Convention Center.

“With two huge events scheduled for September 5th, we suggest people to instead work from home,” says Heru.

Head of State Protocol Andy Rachmianto explains that the Grand Mass in GBK will be attended by around 90 thousand Catholics, while ISF itself is an international forum that will be attended by President Joko Widodo.

Andy notes that Pope Francis will arrive on September 3rd, and on the day after his arrival, Pope Francis will meet with President Joko Widodo at the Jakarta Presidential Palace.
