Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  Following Iran's attack on Israel, state-owned oil company Pertamina guaranteed the stability of the nation's fuel supply despite rising crude oil prices.

Riva Siahaan, President Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, a subsidiary of Pertamina, emphasized their commitment to maintaining stable domestic fuel prices to prevent inflation.

"While crude oil prices rise, we ensure a steady national fuel supply," he said on Monday (15/4/2024).

Pertamina has implemented policies to maintain fuel tariffs until mid-2024 to address rising production costs, as directed by the government.

"As a state-owned company, we support the government's efforts to stabilize the national economy," added Riva.

Pertamina is prepared for increased fuel demand during Eid al-Fitr 2024, bolstering stocks across various fuel types.

Meanwhile, Tutuka Ariadji, Director General of Oil and Gas at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, acknowledged the potential for Indonesia's Crude Price (ICP) to reach $100 per barrel due to the Iran-Israel conflict. Crude oil prices have been steadily increasing by $5 per barrel per month since February 2024.
