Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Narcotics Directorate of the Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police arrested a man identified as MSG for possessing 4.1 kilograms of marijuana in North Bekasi, West Java.

“The arrest took place on Thursday around 9 pm in front of the suspect’s house in Kampung Irian, Teluk Pucung, North Bekasi,” said Acting Unit 5 Sub-Directorate 1 Officer Assistant Senior Inspector Sigit Frestiyadi on Friday (10/10/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com. 

Police found neatly packaged dry marijuana ready for distribution.

Preliminary investigations revealed the drugs were obtained through transactions conducted via social media. Authorities are now tracing the broader distribution network and other potential suspects.

In a separate case, police arrested another man, identified as MNB (24), in Sunter, North Jakarta, and seized one kilogram of marijuana. The suspect allegedly purchased the drugs from a dealer identified as D, who remains at large.

Both suspects and the seized evidence are now in police custody for further investigation.
