The Baubau Resort Police then went inspect the place and abel to confiscate 600 bottles of liquors from KM Sinabung. The liquor was confiscated when the KM Sinabung ship docked at the Murhum Baubau Harbor which departed from the Bitung Islands and stopped at Banggai. They ship was initially planned to continue its journey to Makassar and Surabaya. The Deputy Chief of Baubau Police, Commissioner Bahtiar, said the alcohol was found by the ship's officers while swiping tickets and over baggage. During the sweeping on deck 4, boxes were found wrapped in black plastic containing liquors of 1.5 liter mineral bottle. “The evidence was immediately secured by the ship crews to find out who the owner was. However, after it was announced to the ship's passengers, no one wants to admit it, "explained Bahtiar, Wednesday (26/10/22). Bahtiar said that on the way from Banggai to Baubau, the ship immediately contacted Indonesian National Shipping Company of Baubau.
