inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Police reveal the traffic accident report for the past five days of 2024/2025 Lilin Operation in securing the Christmas and New Year holiday season. 

According to the police report, there were 167 traffic accidents during that period.

The Indonesian National Police (INP) Spokesperson, Senior Superintendent Syamsu Ridwan further reveals there are 34 death toll, 24 people suffered major injuries, and 203 people were only suffering minor injuries.

“Public safety is still our main priority. Therefore, we will continue to appeal and urge the public to always beware and be careful,” says Syamsu Ridwan on Thursday (12/26/2024).

Moreover, Syamsu also detailed  the number of ship trips carrying passengers in the last five days reaching 179 trips. Of the hundreds of trips, the number of passengers reached 69,656 people.

"Two-wheeled vehicles 2,606 units, four-wheeled vehicles 8,309 units, buses 589 units, and trucks 3,069 units were crossing the sea passage in the last five days," he said.
