inp.polri.go.id - Gorontalo. The North Gorontalo Sub-regional Police intensified patrol following the end of 2024 Otanaha Lilin Operation.

The step is taken to ensure the situation remains safe and conducive following the celebration of New Year’s Eve and prevent any potential disturbances.

Head of North Gorontalo Sub-regional Police Operation Bureau Chief, Police Senior Inspector  Supomo states that although the Lilin Operation is over, police will continue to optimize the patrol in all areas, particularly in places prone to criminals.

“We will continue to conduct patrol routinely, both in Trans-Sulawesi road and regions prone to security disturbances,” explains Supomo.

In addition, the North Gorontalo Sub-regional Police also appeal to the people to be more vigilant and help maintain regional security.

Supomo adds that patrol-post Lilin Operation also aims to prevent criminal actions that may occur following the holiday season.

“We hope that with this patrol, people can be more safe and secure as we are trying to suppress the number of security disturbances,” adds Supomo.
