Inp.polri.go.id - Makassar. Following the tragic murder where HT (43) killed his wife, J (41), and buried her in their backyard, the Makassar City Sub-regional Police extended psychological support to their son, F (17), who was compelled to conceal the murder for six years.

Senior Superintendent Mokhammad Ngajib, the Makassar Police Chief, said on Wednesday (17/4/24), "Our intervention includes counseling from the Women and Children Protection Unit and support from psychologists from the South Sulawesi Regional Police" .

The son, identified as F (17), who reported the case, revealed that his father had been verbally abusing his mother. 

The suspect, HT (43) was arrested without resistance and is now in custody. 

According to his confession, the murder was triggered by suspicions of the interaction of his wife J (41), with an ex-partner.

F disclosed his father's false claims about his mother's alleged affair, prompting police involvement.
