Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps has prepared a traffic engineering plan for the Christmas holiday return flow on a number of toll roads starting at 2 pm until 12 pm on Tuesday (26/12/2023).
Head of the Operations Section of the INP Traffic Corps Senior Superintendent Eddy Djunaedi said the traffic engineering plans included the one-way system and the contraflow.
"There will be one-way traffic engineering from kilometer 188 Palimanan Toll Gate to KM 72 Cikampek Utama Toll Gate," he told antaranews.com.
The contraflow traffic engineering will continue using two lanes from kilometer 72 to kilomter 47 Cikampek Utama Toll Gate.
"From kilometer 72 to kilometer 36, there will be one-lane contraflow traffic engineering," Chief Eddy said.
Traffic engineering for vehicles from the direction of Bandung towards Cirebon will be implemented through the Cisumdawu Toll Road at the Jaya Majalengka-Cirebon-Palimanan exit.
Meanwhile, vehicles on the one-way reverse flow route can exit through interchanger gates in Sumber Jaya, Kertajati, Cisumdawu, Cikedung, Subang, Kalijati and Cikopo.
"The implementation of contraflow or one way is situational according to police discretion," Chief Eddy said.
