inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Metro Jaya Regional Police has seized billion rupiahs from the online gambling case involving the Communication and Digital Ministry. The confiscation was carried out during the arrest of MN and DM.

“Team of investigators have secured a cash of IDR 300,000,000 and the money stored in the account amounting to IDR 2.8 billion," said the Director of General Criminal Investigation of Metro Jaya Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Wira Satya Triputra on Sunday (11/10/2024).

In addition, he reveals that MN is one of the fugitives that have been listed in the wanted list.

“Thanks to the dedication and hard work of the investigators in the field, we are able to arrest MN on November 9th, 2024,” said Wira.

He explains that MN acts as the bridge between the online gambling dealers and the other suspects. MN delivers the money and the website lists that would be protected by the ministry staff suspects.

Additionally, MN was said to be helped by the DM. The two suspects now are undergoing examination in Metro Jaya Regional Police.
