inp.polri.go.id - Tangerang. Police visit the location of body wrapped in mattress was found in Balai Desa Lama street, Talagasari, Cikupa District, Tangerang Regency. A joint team of investigators were dispatched to conduct a crime scene investigation.

“Our first action when investigating the crime scene would be identifying the victim and gathering statements that support the clues,” says the Head of Tangerang Sub-regional City Police, Senior Superintendent Baktiar Joko Mujiono on Monday (11/11/2024).

Baktiar explains that the body was found by Martono (54), at 04.05 am when he was about to do morning prayer and found a mattress that blocked his way.

When he approached the mattress, he saw two legs coming out of the mattress. Martono then immediately went back to his home and told his wife about his findings.

“Witness and his wife then returned to the mattress and openedit. There, they found a body inside the mattress,” said Baktiar.

Then, at 05.00 am. Cikupa Sector Police finally caught wind of the situation and sent their investigation unit, along with Tangerang Sub-regional Police, to examine the location and the body.

“The result of examination and identification will be conveyed again later,” said Baktiar.
