Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo departed to Yogyakarta for a work visit, where he will inaugurate a hospital and a market on Wednesday (28/8/2024).

Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media at the Presidential Secretariat, Yusuf Permana, said that the President and his entourage departed from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, at around 8 am aboard the Presidential Aircraft Indonesia-1.

Upon arrival at Adi Sutjipto Air Force Base, Sleman, Yogyakarta, the President will visit Sardjito Hospital to inaugurate the Maternal and Child Health Service Building. 

President Jokowi is scheduled to open the Godean Market in Sleman, which has been under construction since 2023 and is expected to accommodate around 1,837 traders.

The President is also scheduled to stay overnight at the Presidential Palace in Yogyakarta to continue his work visit the following day.
