JAKARTA - The Public Relations Division of the Police of the Republic of Indonesia held a workshop at the Bidakara Hotel, South Jakarta, Monday (23/11/2020).
This activity raised the theme "Media Management for Regional Head Election in Strategy Public relations Police of the Republic of Indonesia Creating a Conducive Public Order and Security Situation "and followed virtually by all Heads of the Public Relations Division of the Regional Police of Indonesia."
A number of key officials from the Public Relations Division of the Police of the Republic of Indonesia were also present while continuing to implement health protocols as a step to break the chain of spreading the Covid-19 pandemic.
Head of the Public Relations Division of the Police of the Republic of Indonesia Inspector General of Police Argo Yuwono said this workshop was to prepare for the 2020 simultaneous Regional Head Elections by looking at the points of view given by the speakers and the consolidation of the Division. Public relations throughout the use of media management appropriately.
"From this discussion, it is expected to provide Guidance and Direction to all Police public relations in facing Regional Head Elections with information keypoints as facilities. For example piracy, pornography, forgery or theft of credit card data, fraud via email, terrorism, theft of internet accounts and crimes that use technology as a means, "said Argo in his speech.
According to him, the public relations Police of the Republic of Indonesia have a very strategic role in supporting media management to increase public trust in Republic of Indonesia Police. "We hope that this activity can provide input to all Indonesian Police public relations in carrying out their duties," he explained.
The workshop is divided into 3 sessions. Second session as a speaker Head of the Intelligence and Security Agency of the Indonesian National Police. Police Commissioner General Ryko Amelza Daniel was represented by the Head of the Political Subdirectorate, Senior Police Commissioner Ahmad Ibrahim, then the head of the National Police Security Maintenance Agency of the Republic of Indonesia Police Commissioner General Agus Ardiantoro was represented by the Daily Executive Head of Community Development Coordination, Brigadier General Police Agus Pranoto. The Operational Assistant to the Chief of Police of the Republic of Indonesia was represented by Karo Binops Sops Polri Brigadier General Pol Rusdi Hartono and the Head of the Indonesian Police Criminal Investigation Agency was represented by the Head of Sub-directorate V Senior Commissioner Rofi.
And the third session with speakers from the Heads of Bureaus in the Indonesian Police Public Relations Division, namely the Head of the Public Information Bureau, Police Brigadier General Awi Setiyono, the Head of Information and Documentation Management Bureau, Police Brigadier General Muhammad Hendra S and the Head of Multimedia Bureau Brigadier General Mukkarom Riyadi.
