Inp.polri.go.id - Batam. Riau Islands Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Yan Fitri Halimansyah, launched  on Tuesday (15/10/2024) "Operation Zebra Seligi 2024," a traffic operation to ensure smooth traffic flow during the presidential and vice presidential  inauguration later this month.

It is a part of security measures that include preventive actions, such as patrols and early threat detection. 

He said that the security and smooth conduct of the upcoming Presidential and Vice Presidential inauguration is the top priority for the Indonesian National Police (INP) and the Indonesian Military (TNI) to maintain public trust.

"Ensuring security and order is our priority to strengthen public confidence and fortify the nation's foundation," he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.

At a recent security preparation briefing, led by INP Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, the INP high-ranking officials, including Chief Yan Fitri, discussed strategies for securing the event, including crowd control and managing potential threats.
