As the 2024 Elections approach, the Sub-Directorate IV of Economic Crime of the Criminal Investigation Unit at the Riau Regional Police conducted the Cooling System activity by ensuring the availability of subsidized fuel and subsidized liquified petroleum gas (LPG) in several gas stations  in Pekanbaru. One of the inspected SPBU locations inspected was located in Pesisir Village, Lima Puluh Kota Sub-district, Pekanbaru. "We are preventing any irregularities in the distribution of subsidized fuel and LPG gas. We urge the public not to abstain from voting and to exercise their voting rights in the 2024 Elections," Assistant Superintendent Nasrudin, the Head of Sub-Directorate IV of Economic Crime,  said on Thursday (8/2/2024). He explained that the inspection showed that the supply of subsidized fuel and LPG at the Lima Puluh Kota Pekanbaru gas stations was sufficient.
