inp.polri.go.id - Riau Police have sent their humanitarian aids for Cianjur earthquake victims, and some of those provisions have arrived in Jakarta. “Several of those provisions have arrived in Jakarta. We expect all of those provisions would be distributed directly by the Head of Riau Police to the people at Cianjur evacuation posts,” said the Head of Riau Police Public Relations, Commissioner Sunarto, Tuesday (11/29). Those provisions includes telon oil, eucalyptus oil, cooking oil, bottled mineral waters, rice, sarongs, blankets, to folding mattresses. The provisions sent by Riau Police numbered in thousands. He hoped that those provisions could be beneficial for the refugees. Through coordination with Aju team who is already at Cianjur, those provisions are the items that they currently need at the evacuation post. “Tomorrow morning, hopefully the Riau Police Chief and his lady, along with the Main Officials of Riau Police, will arrive at Cianjur to directly handed over the aid,” said Commissioner Sunarto. Commissioner Sunarto adds that those activity is part of the Inspector General Iqbal initiatives. He said that this is part of Riau Police concern for the disaster that hits Cianjur Regency.
