Efforts to secure Christmas and 2024 New Year Eve in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) continues as police prepared 1,278 joint personnel. “As instructed by NTB Regional Police Chief Inspector General Raden Umar Faroq, 1,278 security personnel will consist NTB Regional Police and NTB Sub-regional polices across the province,” says Operation Bureau Chief of NTB Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Abu Bakar on Thursday (12/14/2023). Abu Bakar ordered the personnel involved to responsibly conduct the security operation according to the developing situations. “The security indicators will be based on people activity level, either in places of worship or other crowded places such as tourist destination and shopping centers,” said NTB Regional Police PR Chief.
