Head of Public Relations of the West Java Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Jules Abraham Abast said that of the six identified bodies, one was a woman and five were men.

"The West Java Regional Police DVI Team has received reports of eight body bags containing seven male bodies and one female body, of which six victims were successfully identified," he explained in his official statement, quoted on Thursday (2/6/2025).

The Head of Public Relations revealed that the bodies were immediately handed over to the families for burial. Then, the identification process for the other two bodies is still ongoing.

"The six bodies were identified based on fingerprints, medical records, and property," he said.
