inp.polri.go.id - South Lampung. In the working visit of the Chairman of the MPR RI Ahmad Muzani in distributing aid for flood victims, the South Lampung Sub-regional Police provided tight security in every activity not only distributing aid but also directly reviewing the condition of the affected agricultural land in Palas District, South Lampung, on Sunday (2/9/2025).
This security was led by Police Assistant Superintendent Deprison by placing personnel at various strategic points to ensure the smooth running of the event and the safety of the state officials.
Deprison said that security was focused on two main locations, namely the Bali Agung Village Hall, where aid was handed over, and Jalan Simpang Perahu, Purwotani Hamlet, which is the main access connecting Bali Agung Village with Bumidaya Village.
"We have placed personnel at vulnerable points to ensure the safety and smooth running of the entire series of activities, both at the aid location and the flood area," said Kompol Deprison.
During the working visit, Ahmad Muzani handed over aid to flood-affected residents and held a dialogue with the community and regional officials.
This disaster is feared to have a major impact on food security, considering that many farmers are threatened with crop failure. Muzani emphasized the importance of a quick and appropriate solution from the regional government to help farmers so they can return to farming.
"If not handled immediately, the economic impact on farmers will be even greater and affect the national food stock," explained Ahmad Muzani.
With the security carried out by the South Lampung Sub-regional Police, this working visit went smoothly and conducively, and is expected to produce concrete solutions for flood-affected communities.
