Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Chief of South Sulawesi Regional Police Inspector General Andi Rian Ryacudu Djajadi, accompanied by South Sulawesi Acting Governor Bahtiar Baharuddin, visited the Gowa KPU Logistic Warehouse on Monday (15/1/2024). The police chief examined the sorted ballots, underscoring the significance of securing damaged ones until the destruction process, saying, "Damaged ballots must be secured to prevent unwanted issues during the destruction process." Meanwhile, Acting Governor Bahtiar said that about 20 polling stations  in Gowa Regency are under scrutiny due to internet connectivity problems. "Due to the current Sireka, one or two polling stations are affected. About 20 polling stations in this area have garnered attention as, after the calculation, reports should be submitted through the application. Concerns arise in case of signal issues, though village offices in South Sulawesi typically have a signal," he said, referring to the vote count information system. (ar/rd/hn/nm)
