South Sumatra Regional Police Received Award from PWI

The Association of Indonesian Journalists (PWI) of South Sumatra appreciates their partners who have good relationships and support the existence of journalists, particularly those under the umbrella of PWI. The acting governor, Palembang Regent, and several regional heads, including Regional Owned Enterprises leaders are appreciated with an award. Same goes with the South Sumatra Regional Police Chief Inspector General Albertus Rachmad Wibowo as one of the figures who won the award of “Police Cares with the Press”. Head of South Sumatra PWI Kurnaidi ST says that the award was given as an appreciation for their cooperation and support given by South Sumatra Regional Police. “The award is given as our appreciation from PWI to formal to local figures who have the commitment in supporting journalistic duties in the province,” said Kurnaidi. For the award given, Head of South Sumatra Regional Police Public Relations, Senior Superintendent Sunarto, who attended the awards representing the institution, conveys his gratitude for the award. “Thank you to the PWI Chairperson and Head of South Sumatra PWI and management. This award meant a lot to us. It will motivate us further to work harder and better in serving the public, including to our journalist colleagues as our closest partners,” said Sunarto after receiving the award. In his closing statement, Sunarto representing South Sumatra Regional Police wished for South Sumatra PWI to be better and more professional in their journalistic duties and have stronger collaboration with South Sumatra Regional POlice.
