inp.polri.go.id – Succeeded in driving economic recovery and awaken the National Tourism through collaboration of the 2022 Sumatra Bike Week (SBW) with the most MSMEs, West Sumatra Police Chief, Inspector General of the Police, Teddy Minahasa P, S.H., S.I.K., M.H., won the initiating record from the Indonesian World Achievement Institute (LEPRID). This award is part of 76th Bhayangkara Day celebration.
Other than receiving an award from the LPRID, the West Sumatra Police Chief also received an award from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, the Coordinating Minister for SMEs, the West Sumatra Provincial Government, LKAAM, and the Tanah Datar Regency Government which he received Tuesday (12/7/2022) at the West Sumatra Police Headquarters.
"The awards were given from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, the Coordinating Minister for SMEs, LPRID, the West Sumatra Provincial Government, LKAAM, and the Tanah Datar Regency Government," revealed the West Sumatra Police Chief.
The West Sumatra Police Chief said this record indicates that SBW have a huge impact on the community's economy. Furthermore, the Police Chief said, according to the Mayor of Bukittinggi, Erman Safar, when the SBW was held, the money circulating in Bukittinggi reached Rp38 billion.
The Regional Police Chief added that the 2022 SBW was participated by more than 4,000 people. "This activity has a positive impact on the recovery of the national economy, that is one of our main goals after we our economy dropped because of Covid-19," he said.
He continued that for the next step, his party will form a small team. "Later we will try another events that can boost the national economy," he said.
