Inp.polri.go.id – Lembang. The traffic flow in Lembang Major Arterial Road of Bandung Regency to avoid congestions during Christmas and New Year Eve celebration on Saturday (12/23/2023). Police members initiated to disperse the congestions by implementing contraflow traffic management system. Cimahi Sub-regional Police Traffic Unit Chief, Superintendent Sudirianto explains the increase in vehicle volume since Friday, December 22nd. It was estimated that traffic flow peak would be on December 24nd, 2023. To reduce traffic congestion, police members from Cimahi Sub-regional Police and Lembang Sector Police implement contraflow traffic enggament from Bandung to Lampung. Traffic congestion occurred because of waves of tourists coming to Bandung, including those from Greater Jakarta, Central Java, East Java, and Sumatra. (ad/as/pr/nm)
