inp.polri.go.id - Deputy Chairman of the Honorary Court of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia and Member of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Andi Rio Idris Padjalangi, supports the steps of the National Police Chief, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, who instructs the ranks of the National Police Traffic Corps in abolishing manual ticketing and prioritizing the prosecution of traffic violations electronically. "I support the amazing progress in the National Police, particularly the Traffic Corps. The application of manual law enforcement for traffic violators is very risky for bribery and has an impact on state treasury losses," explained the Member of Commission III of the DPR RI, quoted from Antaranews.com, Friday (10/28). The Deputy Chief of the Honorary Court of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia hopes that the policy of the National Police Chief to abolish manual ticketing can help regain the trust from the community to the police, which is currently experiencing a decline compared to other law enforcement institutions. He also hopes that the National Police Chief can continue to improve the National Police institutions that are in direct contact with the community so that they can be more trusted and respected by the community. "Therefore, we encourage the National Police Traffic Corps to be able to disseminate this policy to the community and its staff. However, this must be accompanied by preparing facilities and infrastructure to support the policy in all regions," he said. "Don't let the policy not have a disciplinary impact on traffic law obedience in the society," he concluded.
