inp.polri.go.id - Jayapura. The 2024 Damai Cartenz Ops Task Force arrested Enes Dapla along with his two partners in Yahukimo, Papua Mountains on Saturday (10/19/2024) at 16.55 pm. The three arrested people are part of the Armed Criminal Group.

Head Ops of 2024 Damai Cartenz Task Force, Brigadier General Faizal Ramadhani says that Enes and his two partners were arrested along with the stolen money allegedly coming from the Village Head. The money was planned to be used to buy firearms and ammunition.

“Enes and his two partners were arrested when they were crossing the street towards Gunung street, Yahukimo, by bike,” says Faizal.

The Head of Damai Cartenz Ops Public Relations Task Force, Senior Superintendent Bayu Suseno adds that the suspects were arrested just after they extorted the money from the village head. From their hands, police seized the money and a letter containing instructions for fundraising from villages to support Papuan Independence.

“The letter was signed by Elkius Kobak, a Commander of Armed Criminal Group XVI Army in Yahukimo,” says Bayu.

As of now, examinations on Enes and his partners are ongoing at Yahukimo 2024 Damai Cartenz Ops Task Force Post.
