Investigators from the Directorate of Special Economic Crimes at the Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Agency have detained three high-ranking eFishery officials. They were detained in a case of alleged embezzlement during the acquisition of a technology company in 2024.

"We have detained the three since Thursday, July 31, 2025," explained Brigadier General Helfi Assegaf, Director of Special Economic Crimes of INP, on Tuesday (8/5/2025).

The arrests included Gibran Chuzaefah Amsi El Farizy as the CEO; Angga Hadrian Raditya as the former Vice President of eFishery; and Andri Yadi as the Vice President of Aquaculture Financing.

Previously, INP confirmed a report received regarding alleged falsification of eFishery's financial reports. The defendants in this case are G and C, both high-ranking eFishery officials.

"Yes, there was an eFishery report from suspects G and C. The report was filed in early 2024, around February, March, and April," said Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, Head of the Public Information Bureau of INP on Friday (8/2/2025).
