Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Public Relation Task Force of Tinombala Mantap Brata Operation intensively patrols digital space ahead 2024 General Election. The initiative was taken to prevent and implement order against those who potentially disrupts the election. “The Cyber patrol involves public relation task force personnel. They will monitor developing issues that currently happening in 2024 General Election in social media and mainstream media,” says Public Relations Chief Task Force, Senior Superintendent Djoko Wienartono on Friday (1/12/2024). Djoko states that the cyber patrol would detect and prevent hoax, hate speech, and dangerous propaganda from spreading. Moreover, patrols also conducted to compile the information and data of cybercrimes that potentially disrupt 2024 Election. Djoko says that the data will be used by Indonesian National Police (INP) for further investigation and examination of cybercrimes. “INP will act strongly against cybercriminals who disrupts 2024 General Election,” Djoko adds. The Public Relations Chief Task Force also continued by saying that the patrol is part of INP effort in realizing smooth 2024 General Election.
