“The supply of MinyaKita and bulk oil actually are still available in several regions, but there is a decline in number,” said the Director of Basic Materials and Important Goods Bambang Wisnubroto.

The report is based on his party’s monitoring in several areas such as Depok, Bogor, and Semarang.

Furthermore, he assured that the price of MinyaKita will still follow the Highest Retail Price (HET), which is IDR 14,000 per liter.

On the other hand, he admits that the oil price sometimes slightly goes up at certain markets as the demand is increasing. “This eventually pushed MinyaKita price to go up,” said Bambang.

At the end of his statement, he conveys that the phenomenon was based on his party’s field monitoring. Therefore, the Trade Ministry pledges to fix the situation so MinyaKita price will return to the HET.
