Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Transportation has dismissed Asri Damuna, the Head of the Airport Operation Unit (UPBU) Office at Sangia Nibandera Kolaka, Southeast Sulawesi, following a viral social media incident. 

Adita Irawati, the Ministry spokesperson, convyed on Friday (10//5/2024) her regret over the situation.  She said that the dismissal aims to facilitate further investigation, according to antaranews.com.

Minister Budi Karya Sumadi has ordered a prompt and thorough inquiry into the viral news, with strict sanctions if guilt is confirmed, Adita said. 

Currently, an examination of the individual is underway.

The incident involved a video where a South Korean YouTuber, Jiah, vacationing in Manado, North Sulawesi, was approached by a man believed to be Asri, inviting her to his hotel. 

Adita emphasized the Ministry's stance against such occurrences, urging all civil servants to uphold dignity and ethics.
