inp.polri.go.id - West Papua. The West Papua Regional Police moved 50 personnel to escort the election logistic distribution and secure the Regional Head Election in Fakfak Regency.

West Papua Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Johnny Eddizon Isir says that the logistic distribution in Fakfak Regency to 17 districts was carried out since Saturday (11/23/2024).

The deployment was to support the smooth process of the 2024 Regional Head Election in the region. The local police are also working together with the military to ensure the security and order during the election.

“To ensure that the logistic distribution process is going smoothly without any hindrance,” said Johnny on Sunday (11/24/2024).

The logistics distribution done by Fakfak General Election Commission (KPU) on Saturday morning were delivered to six districts, namely Tomage District, Bomberay District, Mbahamdandara District, Furwagi District, Arguni District and Karas District.

This distribution escort will continue until the distribution of election logistics to 11 other districts are completed. Moreover, the security for the election will continue until the day of voting and vote counting at polling stations (TPS) throughout Fakfak Regency.
