Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Police Academy (Akpol) has admitted 325 cadets from a pool of 490 candidates, as announced by the Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief Assistant of of Human Resources, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo. 

This year’s intake includes 284 male cadets and 41 female cadets.

Chief Dedi confirmed the final selection during the concluding session of the central selection process at the Akpol Auditorium, Semarang, on Sunday (28/7/2024). The selection involved regular cadets, proactive recruitment, and quota-based candidates. Those with the highest scores were chosen based on their respective regional quotas.

“This outcome reflects the pure effort and hard work of the candidates,” said Chief Dedi, saying that the selection process this year was condensed to 21 days due to the busy schedule of the INP, compared to the previous 30 days.

The final selection process included various tests and evaluations, including administrative checks, academic tests, psychological assessments, and physical fitness evaluations.
