According to the early warning system exposed through the InaTEWS_BMKG application, tremors from the earthquake are predicted to be felt for a few moments by residents of Krui, Tanggamus, Tanjung Karang, and surrounding areas. However, the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency(BMKG) has not yet reported in detail about the triggers and impacts on the community due to the earthquake.
