Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Vice President Ma'ruf Amin underscores the importance of women role and child protection in preventing and handling extremism and terrorism.

This has become a strategic movement to strengthen the implementation of National Action Plan for Preventing and Combating Violent Extremism that Leads to Terrorism (RAN PE) of 2025-2029.

"The impact of terrorism that they felt are not physical only, but also psychologically. It is vital for women to break the chain of terrorism in the family circle," says VP Ma'ruf Amin.

Furthermore, Ma'ruf Amin highlights multi-parties collaboration to strengthen RAN PE 2025-2029. "Erase every complicated bureaucracy and let us together maintain national security stability from threats that would divide us," calls Ma'ruf Amin.

Moreover, Ma'ruf Amin wants the implementation focus of RAN PE to be directed towards programs/activities that would affect the community directly.

"Collaborates with Islamic Boarding School and community organisation that could directly went to the field. Continue to listen to every suggestions in strengthening RAN PE so that the efforts and handling of extremism could be going according to the situation" explained the Vice President.

He also urged the regional government to be proactive in implementing RAN PE.

"Regional government has deep understanding on social, culture, and local dynamics situation, thus making their role to be vital in preventing terrorism," concludes VP Ma'ruf Amin.
