Metro Jaya Police Hosts Japanese Embassy Delegation

Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police hosted on Tuesday (7/5/2024) a visit from the delegation of the Japanese Embassy to enhance cooperation in crime prevention. 

Metro Jaya Police Deputy Chief Brigadier General Suyudi Ario Seto and the Director of Vital Object Security Senior Superintendent Joko Sulistio greeted Japanese Ambassador Masaki Yasushi and his delegation, expressing gratitude for Japan's support, particularly through the JICA program. 

Chief Suyudi raised his commitment to collaborate in ensuring Jakarta's safety, acknowledging Japan's advanced crime prevention techniques. 

Ambassador Masaki praised Metro Jaya Police for safeguarding Japanese nationals in Jakarta, noting the absence of major incidents during his tenure. 

With 16,000 Japanese citizens in Jakarta, he stressed seamless collaboration between Indonesian and Japanese authorities. 

He expected the continuation of initiatives like POLMAS/JICA with the Indonesian government.
