Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) has confirmed a travel ban on Ken Dwijugiasteadi, the former Director-General of Taxes, and four other persons in connection with an alleged corruption case involving tax obligations manipulation from 2016 to 2020 within the Directorate General of Taxes.

“The Attorney General’s Office has requested travel restrictions against several parties,” said AGO spokesperson Anang Supriatna on Thursday (20/11/2025), as cited by antaranews.com.

Alongside Ken, those affected by the travel ban are Director of PT Djarum Victor Rachmat Hartono, Commissioner of PT Graha Padma Internusa, a subsidiary of PT Djarum,  Heru Budijanto Prabowo, tax officials Karl Layman and Bernadette Ning Dijah Prananingrum. The Directorate General of Immigration confirmed the ban, effective from 14 November 2025 to 14 May 2026, citing “corruption” as the reason.

The case stems from allegations that officials in the tax office conspired to reduce corporate tax liabilities. The AGO previously carried out searches at various locations but has not yet disclosed key details. Anang confirmed that the investigation has officially advanced to the formal investigation phase.
