The the East Nusa Regional Tenggara (NTT) Police Medical Subtask Force has provided health services on Sunday (29/9/2024) to officers involved in Operation Mantap Praja Turangga 2024 to support officers on duty, particularly those stationed at the command post, as the operation coincides with the 2024 regional elections in the province.

Operation Mantap Praja Turangga 2024 is focused on maintaining public security and order during the election campaign. Ensuring the health of personnel in the field isconsidered  crucial for their effectiveness in carrying out security duties.

In addition to health screenings, the medical subtask force provided training on the use of health supplies, known as "bekkes." These supplies are vital for emergency medical support, allowing officers to address basic medical issues before seeking further care.

Second Inspector Pius Pala, the NTT Police Head of the Medical Subtask Force, said that regular health assessments are conducted to ensure the physical readiness of personnel, especially during the intensive campaign phase.

"This health check is essential to keep personnel in a state of readiness. We also educate them on using health supplies to manage health emergencies effectively in the field," he said.
