inp.polri.go.id - Mandalika. The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Regional Police has prepared firm security operations in several strategic locations to support the smooth event of MotoGP Mandalika 2024. The security operations were performed at Green Gate, Circuit Main Entrance, and Mong Roundabout as they are one of the main barriers to the circuit area.

Police Assistant Superintendent I Wayan Alus Adyana as the Controlling Officer at Mong Roundabout, explains that the location is one of the crucial points for ticket checking.

“Mong Roundabout is one of the first checkpoints for vehicles entering the circuit arena. Only those who owned the tickets and official stickers are allowed to pass. While tourists who only want to enjoy the beach will be directed to other way to avoid congestions,” says Wayan.

Meanwhile, Police Senior Inspector Ritian Handayani as the Controlling Officer at Green Gate underscores that the access is only for those who have the ID Card or official sticker.

“Green Hate is not an access point that can be accessed by everyone. Only those who have an official sticker, marshal, and volunteer are permitted to enter,” explains Ritian.

Moreover, officials are also deployed to prevent illegal parking around the traffic towards the circuit.

“We have deployed our personnel to ensure no vehicles are parking at the side of the road. Official parking lots have been determined in Gate 1, Gate 2, and Gate 3. We will take firm action to those illegally parking around the venue,” adds Ritian.

With strict security operations at Mong Roundabout and Green Gate, West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police ensure smooth and security throughout MotoGP Mandalika 2024. Spectators are urged to follow the directions of officials and not to park their vehicles in illegal parking lot to maintain smooth traffic around the venue.
